What does Web design mean to you?

For me Web design is the creation of the look and feel of a website. It involves the design of page layout, backgrounds, images, typography and navigation buttons. It is a way to deliver information to a user through the Internet that is both user friendly and aesthetically pleasing.

Why does Web design appeal to you so much?

I love Web design because it’s fun and challenging. There is always something new to be learnt and I find it rewarding seeing a website I have worked on appear on the Internet for the whole world to see.

When you are not up to your elbows in pixels what do you do?

I enjoy spending leisurely days with friends and family and especially love spending time with my niece and nephews. I love to cook and also enjoy going to the gym, swimming and running.

Three things that make you tick?

I absolutely adore my niece and nephews, they always put a smile on my face. I also love having a freshly cleaned house and of course, a good margarita!

Favourite food?

My favourite food is pasta and pretty much anything Italian.

If you could host a dinner with any three people, who would you choose and why?

Firstly I have to invite my partner, I always enjoy his company. Second on the invite list would be Miranda Kerr, she is stunning and I would love to get some health and fitness tips from her. Steve Irwin had he not passed away would be my third guest, his passion for nature and conservation is inspirational.

If given the chance to skip work for a day, how would you spend the entire day?

I would have a good sleep in followed by a long lunch with my partner, somewhere nice and cosy. I would follow that up with some shopping or watching a movie and then cooking a gourmet dinner for my family and friends.
